Textile Recycling Bin in Special Recycling

Starting on November 14th, the District Transfer Station in Middlebury will accept used clothing and textiles for special recycling. Through this program the District will continue to ensure that community members have access to textile reuse and recycling programs. 

Drop-off is free and open year-round to the public. Some acceptable items include: Adult and children’s clothing, footwear, accessories, linens, and stuffed animals. Items can be in any condition, as long as they are clean, dry, and odorless. Please make sure items are in a closed plastic bag before placing them in the collection bin. When: Beginning on November 14th, 2022 and open during normal business hours 

Cost: Drop-off is free to households and businesses.
