ACSWMD Repair Fair 2025

ACSWMD recently hosted its seventh annual Repair Fair on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at the American Legion in Middlebury.

A Repair Fair is a family-friendly, free event dedicated to building a culture of repair and sharing basic repair skills. The event also had raffle prizes, kids' activities, and refreshments.

ACSWMD recruited 25 wonderful volunteer fixers with skills in bike repair, woodworking, sewing, tool sharpening, appliance repair, electrical repair, and electronic repair. Our fixers worked with community members to repair their broken items and share their skills. Six ECO AmeriCorps volunteers and ACSWMD staff helped with the event as well.

This year, the Repair Fair saw 125 items, over 89 attendees, and received lots of positive feedback from the community and volunteers!
