Addison County Solid Waste Management District receives award

The Addison County Solid Waste Management District received Call2Recycle's 2022 Top 100 Leader in Sustainability award. The annual Leader in Sustainability award is given to top performing organizations and businesses who demonstrate a notable commitment to battery collection and recycling. The District participates in Call2Recycle's consumer battery program and helped Call2Recycle recycle nearly 8 million pounds of consumer batteries in 2022.
