Tyvek Envelope
Tyvek is a material made from the weaving together of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fibers. It is often used to make shipping envelopes, house wrap, or personal protective gear. As the majority of the material in Tyvek is HDPE, also known as number 2 plastic, it can be recycled at the District Transfer Station in our Plastic Bags, Film & Wrap Program.
