Disposable Cups

Plastic cups should be recycled in your blue bin after being rinsed clean. Paper cups do not belong in the recycling bin. Paper cups, including coffee cups, should be disposed of as trash because they have a layer of non-recyclable wax or plastic that cannot be separated. Styrofoam and other insulated cups should also be placed in trash, even if they have a recycling symbol. Paper, Styrofoam, and plastic plates and bowls should also be placed in the trash.
