Bicycles

Bikes are accepted for scrap metal recycling at the District Transfer Station (metal items larger than one cubic foot or greater than 25 pounds must be separated from the trash per District Ordinance). You could also try selling a bike or bike parts on Front Porch Forum or Craigslist.

Note: If your bike is in good condition, you may also consider donating it to:

• Little City Cycles, Vergennes, VT. Call Little City Cycles at (802) 877-3000 to ask about trading in a bike.
